Learn how to stop domestic violence before it starts. Go to

Domestic Violence Project of Santa Clara County.. They can tell you
about programs in your area.
Santa Clara County Social Services Agency:
The Santa
Clara County Social Services Agency can help you with:
- Child abuse,
- Common questions,
- What mandated reports are,
- Reports when someone suspects child abuse,
- Legal terms,
- How to contact them, and
- Helpful links.
The online talking is about things like:
- getting a foster care license
- training for people who want to be foster parents
- adoption
Anyone can post a question - or answer a question. Your question might be
answered by a local parent or by a professional.
Family Resource Centers:
There are 5 Family Resource Centers in Santa Clara. They have support groups
and counseling for:
- Family violence problems,
- Drug and alcohol abuse,
- How to be a good parent,
- How to keep kids away from gangs,
- How to discipline your child, and
- How to take care of sick children.
There are special services for Chicano/Latina, African American and Asian
Pacific families.
Any family can come to the Centers. SSA (Social Services Agency) clients have priority. top of page
