Court Fees
[Esta página está en español;
Trang này bằng tiếng Việt]
This section tells you about:
- Fees;
- Fee Waivers
-
The State Legislature decides what the
fees are to file different kinds of Family Law forms.
Go to the
Family Fees
section of the main Superior Court website for a list of fees. Payment
Methods accepted by the Court are listed on the
methods of payment
page.
-
If you are low-income and cannot afford to pay the fee to
file your court
papers, you can ask for a “Fee
Waiver”.
To see if you qualify for a Fee Waiver, read the state Request to Waive
Court Fees (FW-001 INFO).
To ask for a waiver, fill out these forms:
- Request to Waive Court Fees (FW-001)
or Request to Waive Additional Court Fees (Superior Court) (FW-002)
and
- Order on Court Fee Waiver (Superior Court) (FW-003)
The judge will read your
application and will let you know if the
Court can “waive” all or
part of the fees.
The judge may want to see your most recent paystubs.
