Criminal FAQ Answer to: How can I look up criminal codes?

Those codes are on the state website. On our "useful links" page at the main court site, the first link provided is to California Legislation. When you get to that page, click on the blue button "California Law". Then on that page, check just the one box "Health and Safety Code", then without entering anything in the white search box, hit the "Search" button. This will return a full list.

Scroll down on that page until you see:
"Article 5. Offenses Involving Controlled Substances
Formerly Classified as Restricted Dangerous
Drugs .......................................... 11377-11382.5"

Code 11378 will be on the page that has 11377 through 11382.5. Click on the blue numbers on that page to go to the page with the code you are looking for.
